I have now left Perth! Had to say goodbye to many wonderful people, and that always hurts, but the travelling must go on.... I'm in Sydney right now! "Normal" people would have taken the plane, but Rochelle and I desided to do the "ones in a lifetime journey" - The Indian Pacific! The first two days went so fast, (we had 2 litres of wine with us, that might have helped... haha) we had our own cabin (Red Kangaroo Sleeper) and we slept so good in the foldable beds! It was like a mini home made by Ikea, so much stuff fit in to such a little space! We layed in bed and watched the landscape change constantly!
The last 24 hours we spent in a seat, the cabins were fully booked. That was looooong!!!! I didn't get one minute of sleep that night, it was so uncomfortable! We both agreed it would have been a very hard trip if we would have had only seats all the way. So to the people that want to do this trip, take a cabin!
